Estimate To Fix A Dent

Hi everyone,

Some spastic who cannot drive has planted a rather clear imprint of their tow bar into the back of my Yaris.

The car is 54 plate so does not have the plastic bumper below the number plate. Anyway, it is only the bumper that has got the dent in it and is separate, i think, from the rest of the back body work.

Does anyone have a round-a-bout price for it to get fixed. The dent goes in quite a bit so not sure wether sucking it out would work. Even with that it would need to be sprayed again.

What does everyone think!!! I havent had the time yet to take it somewhere but want to get it done.

someone done that to my rover i think i got mine filled rubbed down and resprayed plus colour coded with the spare paint for around £100ish mibbe less.

If its about £100, it could well be cheaper to just buy a new lower bumper and get it sprayed, especially if as you say it goes quite far back.

eBay will solve your troubles :P

if your yaris has like the half plastic bumper with the metal lower, just get a new metal lower and get it on. They are cheap as anything and it would be more money time and effort trying to straighten and fill the metal panel than just buying a new one. if your lucky on eBay or at a breakers youll get one the right colour and just bolt it on, spraying for such a small part would cost f all anyway tho.
