I have a Landcruiser Prado 1992 Short Wheelbase 2.4 Turbo - imported from Japan (see attached photo). I am trying to find out what the original tyre specifications are for this vehicle, but don't have the manual and haven't been able to find anything on the internet. does anyone know what this spec is?

The tyres that are on at the moment are Pirelli Scorpion S/T 215/80 R16 & I need something which gives better offroad performance. It was suggested by the Goodyear dealer here that I could put on Fulda Multi Trac 4x4 205R16 - but am not sure how the slighltly smaller diameter would affect the clearance & tyre life - or the appearance, as you can see from the photo, the tyres already look a bit undersized.

While we are on the subject - several people I trust have given me conflicting advice about the different tyre pressures to use when on/off road. is this really as subjective an opinion as it seems to be, or are there some golden rules to follow?
