Oil Leak

got an oil leak, its comeing down the back of the engine and dripping of the gearbox any one any ideas? pople been saying the rocker cover gasket?

as its a 185 i would go with them on that. order a new gasket from MR T and get an Allen bolt kit (eBay is probably best) to replace the cheese screws that hold it on. use a dab of locktite on them and it should cure it

don't worry just yet, it's normally water that gives that away not oil, water system pressurising ETC...

excellant i plan on doing the head gasket anyway but not just yet lol cash is tight! want more boost so wanna upgrade it to a steel one first. were can i get a steel head gasket from and how much am i looking roughly?

the easiest place to look for parts is probably fensport, but also i've been pointed in the way of http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/ for a few items. prices are online so won't list them, whislt your taking the head off i'd sudjest replacing the water and oil pumps and the bearings for all the pullies in the timing gear and NEVER try to re-use the hydrolic tensioner
