These are a total waste of time & money ;)

I'd avoid. You've passed your test. You need to concentrate on NCB otherwise your insurance will be screwed for years if you A. have a crash and B. with the induction kit fitted (and you havent told your insurer due to the leap in the premium).

Seriously, be patient otherwise in two years you wont be able to afford the insurance on a Clio Cup or Cooper S

sorry but I agree here, the induction kit is not going to improve the performance that much and in comparision with the fact ur insurance as hora says will rocket it will also prob invalidate the warranty on your engine, so personally think in balance its not worth it.

Welcome to the club tho and congrats on passing your test!! :D

I've never really understood that. If you want a fast car, buy a fast car. After all the modifications, time, money, extra insurance costs you could have just bought a standard nippy car that doesnt invalidate its warranty and wont be an absolute pig to sell on. Who is going to buy a mod'd car knowing it will have been thrashed, no warranty and you certainly cant px it!

yep - what all these have said.

Its not going to do anything for the Aygo that you'd notice - you HAVE to tell your insurance, and with just passing your test your premium will skyrocket - for no real benifit.

Save the money and as Hora says, buy a fast car when you can afford one..

FYI: It took me 12 years after passing my test until I bought my first true 'fast' car, and it was well worth the wait ;)

thanks for the comments.. all taken in

let him do what he wants. please keep advice relevant. seriously he asked for advice on the airfilter not insurance.

Posted

relevance is that an air filter will do nothing for the car. Hence no performance increase hence waste of monies if that is the main objecttive of adding one.

Yet another "boy racer" to contend with.
