I know most late Toyotas have an OBD port.

Having paid out £47 to have a faulty Coil Pack diagnosed would it be worth me buying a reader and can anyone reccomend one?

Once I've bought one will I be able to clear the fault history?

You will be able to clear history!

I nearly bought one when i had a problem with my car but then it got solved and didnt want to Shell out £100+ for a unit

You can clear fault history by removing negative terminal on Battery
