Ae92 Cambelt Snapped

Should not be a huge problem. Get a new timing belt fitted and you should be good to go. The 4A-GE engine was designed as a "non-interference"engine i.e the valve do not hit the pistons if the belt breaks.

Yeah snapped one before on my C plate ae82, was ready for a rebuild last time but luckily someone told me about it then, new belt and I was away, just hoping this one is the same. Still a nightmare tho, big hands v's small space / bolts!!

Just to say, after hours of agro with the pulley, the belt is back on and the corolla lives on thru another snapped belt. Got to give respect to non-interferance 4A-GE engines.
