Next step towards running some big power :) its made from a universal 2.5" piping kit off eBay, samco joiners, mikalor clamps (a must!!) and the intercooler core off an Evo 6. Car pulls harder now than it did before especially in 4th and 5th B)

Next thing on the list is fit my emanage and get the fueling spot on as its still overfueling like crazy on the stock ecu and the flames are huge!

Just an emanage blue, ultimate could be something to consider for the future though, depending how I get on with the blue I guess :)

Looking good mike B) , I was waiting for someone to try out an evo intercooler, had my eye on the forge uprated alloy one...

P.S. Where did you get the Koyo rad in the end, did you find a UK supplier??

Thanks Sketchy :) tried n tested on the evo's and can pick them up cheap now so thought it'd be worth a shot :)

The Koyo came from USA via eBay, but I believe flat4online can get you one now and they are UK based, slightly cheaper than what I paid too!! :(

How did you mount this? Thinking of doing a similar conversion with an evo intercooler on my st185. Did you have any space issues?

If anyone else is interested Flat4Online say £295 delivered with 2-3 working days delivery time for the Koyo Rad. Beats however many weeks from the US :D

Sketchy, yeah its the R1958 :) and i'm using spal fans now to allow room for the FMIC piping but with the CC I was able to retain the stock fans and that was with a Aussie DP fitted, just need to trim the fan housing a little thats all ;)

gezmeister, Made brackets for the 3 mounting points on the core :) two on the bottom go to the bottom lower bar behind the bumper, the power steering pipes needed moving slightly and now sit just behind the core, and the g/box oil cooler was also slightly moved back a little to allow clearance :) thats on a 205 though so not sure of the setup on a 185...

Cool. After checking space and clearance, i don't think i'd be able to fit such a big intercooler but cheers anyway!!!

Nice one, I'll probably get some new fans as well anyway coz mine are a little worse for wear...

Did you need to remove the ac rad or does it fit with this?

looking good bud.

you can get a 600x300x76mm FMIC in the front of a 185, you need to loose the aircon (most dont have gas in anyway)

gezmeister, as Dawesy said, you will be able to fit one, the Evo core aint the biggest about  and theres plenty of people on the gt4oc with FMIC on 185s :)

Fizz, thanks dude :D its getting there slowly, after a wideband AFR gauge next and get the emanage on to sort the fueling out ;)

Sketchy, if your after spal fans, try seller phut phut on eBay, he's really helpful and will do you deal if your buying 2 fans :) i've also kept my aircon for those hot summers days :)

Dawesy, thanks fella :D hows the Rolla these days???

Cheers Mike I'll check 'em out.

If you after a AFR gauge, check out the STACK one comes as a 52mm pod mount gauge with digital and radial LED display . Comes complete with Wideband sensor and goes from 6:1 - 20:1, recall of leanest value and user programmable alarm.

Great pictures! One Question... I notice the Turbo is flipped upside down compared to the one in my engine(st185) did you have to flip yours around to get the piping in there? and if so how did you do it? i will be installing a FMIC within the next week or so myself.

There is a circlip on the compressor housing of the turbo, remove that and the compressor housing comes off, you can then rotate the housing and re-attach, you will need to make a bracket to hold the actuator though as the stock one will no longer fit

Clocking the turbo its called i believe.

intercooler is looking good though and the main thing is it pulls harder lol!

K thanks Ihave another question... is there a blow out valve installed Icant tell from the pictures. And if yes how did u go about putting it on, was thinking the only way to really go about it would be run a long ***** hose from the front of the car(in between the turbo and intercooler) or possible just put the "T" hose in the top of the car between the throttle body and intercooler.
