Its a nice guid morning frae up here in cloudy Glasgow....drybut

I'm having a slight problem, particularly when I'm in a rush - seem to lose drive to the front wheels when accelerating after a corner or from a roundabout. At the same time as my right foot sinks to the floor. Anybody else perhaps with a five door experiencing this problem??

Thanks but its no clutch slip. I'm wondering if the front wheels are lifting off the grun?

Naw - its 4 hours since I last had a jibe at 5 doorers....

The landy comes back Monday as the sump oil seal is being replaced and the mechanics fingers froze with the weather on saturday....as it will only be doing less than 3 miles stints it should be fine...I had thought of getting an old tractor but these things seem to have a high residual value!! Now maybe an old road-roller??

Hi Ian...

I thought I saw your 3dr Rav pass me the other day... but it was just a blur! As for the front wheels lifting... can't you lean forward and keep your chin on the dash as you accelerate, that should transfer some weight over the front wheels and keep the buggers down! ;)

I believe the front wheels might lift under acceleration but I find it hard to believe they will leave the road with the normal load in it. Have you been hiring it out?

Oh and by the way I always wear an anti 5 door diesel insult condom when reading your posts so your efforts are futile.
