I have a 2005 Hilux Vigo Diesel.

Can anyone please explain what two of the dashboard switches do?

One is in the lower center dash next to the rear screen demister. It is an oblong rocker switch and has a green light in it that is illuminated when in the up position.

The other is in the cluster that has the door mirror controls and the security light in it. It is a round rocker switch and when on has a red light in it.

The vehicle is a grey import.

One would be for the rear fog light.

Thanks for your reply....you are right, the round one with the red light is the rear fog light.

The green one is still a mistery.

Could it disable the airbags?

A friend has the same vehicle but not this switch.

I'll call in at the Toyota dealer when next passing.
