Avensis Engine Problem

Hi there, I wonder if anyone can help me

I have a 1998 1.8 Avensis with the 7A-FE engine, It has had new cam belt,plugs (correct type)filters and oil.

The engine starts and revs cleanly (no missfire) and accelerates smoothly in all gears, However at about 50-65mph in high gears with just a small throttle opening (just enough to maintain speed) the engine starts to hickup and hestiate, if i increase speed to 70-80mph the symptom dissapears, I can`t imagine this is the only one to do this, so can anyone help me with a diagnosis ?

Thanks for the reply, I presume you mean to clean the aluminium housing around the butterfly valve, should I clean just this area and the butterfly valve or do I need to take the thing apart and clean it in more detail
