Just read the report on the supercharged Lotus Elise and in an attempt

to get a better spread of power they have 'lift' occuring at 4000RPM .

Wish I could alter the lift point on my Corolla to 5000 RPM .

I wonder if it's a re-written Toyota ECU or a Lotus 'own brand' .

Anyone here work for Lotus ? :D

Funnily enough, we are a lotus dealer where I work :D

They only use the engine and gearbox from toyota. the rest, is lotus

They should stick with a toyota ECU! nothing but problems. The engine is spot on, it just has a tendency to misfire or run very poorly. 99% of the time, its down to the ECU

So the answer to your question, it is a lotus home grown but, really should have a toyota unit in it!

Thanks for that , I had a look about and found that Lotus use their own ECU .

I could see the Apexi costing a million squid to buy and setup , I think I'll have

to stay stock .

I can't help thinking there must be a cheaper/more simple way to engage

lift at a lower RPM , alas I don't have the knows for it :) .

Apexi PFC is the only thing out there as far as i'm aware, you have the Hydra EMS too which is pretty much the same thing and costs around the same price too.
