Interior Painting

hey guys, second ever topic on here, had some good ideas for exterior stuff on my last thread, now looking for interior advice, im looking to take off some of the dull panells and have them sprayed the same time as my exterior stuff (just to save time) how hard is it to actually get this done? is it a simple matter of taking them off and spraying them? or is there any conditioning required (priming etc)

Thanks in advance.

jon. :D

hi there depends on the finish you would like i will take a picture of mine and show you i sprayed mine blue as my interior seats are blue and iv kept the blue thing going within the car.

First of all the top part of the centre console can be painted as for the trays you will need to sand those down as interior paint wont stay onto it.

Make sure you use interior vinyl spray which is around £10 do not buy cheap aerosols which say for interior exterior get proper interior paint. Sand down the surface as the plastics dont all hold the paint especially the ventts on the car they dont hold paint so sand thoroughly other then that if you need anyhelp let us know.

It is not neccesary to primer the existing plastics if you buy proper vinyl spray made for car plastics but after painting laquer to get a clean shiny finish.
