Don't know if imports are the same as UKs (should be) but my UK car ecu fuse blew....it's in the fuse box in the engine bay ...pop the lid off and it is identified on there..

cheers... I'll have a look...

If I'm resetting the ECU , do I just need to pull it out, then put it in again.. or do anything else like dab the brakes etc??

Not sure how long you'd have to leave it out to reset the ecu, mine was out for 1 week and had no effect....... :(

There are two ecu fuses, one in the engine bay and one under the bonnet - pull them both and leave for a minute, this will reset it.

When my fuse in the engine bay went it took out the charging system lit up the Battery light on the dash and the engine management light and brake pad lights.......this took out the ecu so what does the front fuse control ?

Short answer - not sure, could be a back up memory.

PS. Don't do this procedure with the key in the ignition.

Matt.

I've found that just removing the one in the engine bay resets the system - it definately resets too since I can hit full boost when it decides to have a bad day.... Must check for error codes.....
