has any one fitted a speedo converter to a new vigo, i have a 07 vigo and the speed is 8mph to fast and i get a flat spot when i go pull away fast, i think it is all related.

the speedo reads about 7- 8 mph to fast, i talked to cartek in southampton today and there is two types of converter for the new hilux 3 wire and 4 wire, you get a flat spot if you use the wrong one, because of the pulse into the ecu from the speedo is to slow (30% low) they think the needle has been put on in the wrong place.

fitted a 5 wire speed converter from CARTEC and the flat spot is gone :) . truck pulls much better from low speeds, and just moved the needle on the speedo and that is reading ok now. next job is chip upgrade...
