Creaking Door/seal

Hi

My 2006 3 door yaris had developed an annoying noise. It seems to be caused by the seal of the drivers door rubbing against the door frame as I drive along. Anyone else have this problem or knows how to solve it?

It only appears to affect the drivers door!

Regards

Alan

No

It is both doors and is irritating. I wondered if adjusting the door catch/strike plate might help?

It could be because the door is flexing slightly. Try smearing the seals witha very thin layer of vasaline, it will help to ease the friction.

This was a common problem with hatchbacks when they first appeared on our roads. The whole body would flex slightly !!!!
