hey iv been using the integrated cd player on my yaris luckily iv been making my own cds to play but after a few plays iv noticed when i take the cd out the cd is scratched really badly the whole way around then starts to make my cd jump for obvious reasons. iv put one bought cd in it which is now all scratched so iv made a copy of it just so the good copy wont get ruined in the car. has anyone else had this problem..i was gonna try cleaning it but i mean what if that doesnt work? its still under warranty till beginning of march. should i just take it back?

The cdrom is prolly broken, bring it back under warranty.

mum said the cd player isnt under warranty its just the car. looks like im just gonna have to buy another one.

Do you have an aftermarket unit?

If your cd player is a Toyota one, i.e. it came with the car, it IS covered under warranty.

Ditch it and get one that plays MP3's, can get them for under £60 now.
