Ok, only when my girlfriend is sat on it. started last week and I assumed it was all the plastics bottles, CD cases etc piled up squeeking but its not.

What to do? Is it definitety a seat change then as a fix? Known problem? Someone else mentioned it happened to them. I dont want two trips to the Dealer, one for WD40/grease and another when it doesnt work.

Failing that, you may have to learn to live with annoying noises from the passenger seat when the other half is sat in it. Most of us do. ;)

Maybe you should suggest less cream cakes? :P

I guess that would only work if you fancy spending valentines on your own....

I'd try the grease/WD option myself first I think, save yourself a trip.

T600.....................lmao.

Come to think of it I have noticed a tutting noise coming from said seat when wifey is sat in it. Just took it as a normal thing as the same thing happens in my Astra.

I mentioned my squeeky seat to my dealer when I had my Aygo serviced. It is a known problem, and he is aranging a new seat under warranty.

So, I would go and see your local dealer, and ask nicely if they can sort you out a replacement.

Well im glad i joined here, Wifes car does this too. Dealer due to take a look of it in couple of weeks. So i think ill be calling them tomorrow to speak to them about this.

My passenger seat also squeaked so I mentioned it when my AYGO went in for it's first year service. They lubricated some parts and now it's stopped squeaking!

Well dropped the car off today at the dealer, i mentioned the fact that some aygos have been found with squeaking seats that have been replaced. Well they had a lookie of the seat they wd40d some bits and it was still doing it, left it with them. Got a call earlier and after them talking to Toyota they seem to think its the way its bolted to the car or something. I dont know.

Just thought i would pass it on, once I get the car back or hear from them i will keep this updated.

sent mine in today to have all the seals replaced...

also mentioned the seats squeaking, and im not sure what theyves done but its stopped :D

Right just got the car back.

Here is what they did

" stripped down to locate noise from floor fixings, reshaped support tower fixings. - Tested ok"

Now the noise is gone, so hopfully thats it. I dont know if what they done is true, but if it helps someone else then good.
