Hi Spike,

A mate of mine has just had his new Golf treated to Supergaurd. As I understand its similar to having Teflon sprayed on to your car (inside and out) You can't see any difference but he says its alot easier to clean and keep clean. Nothing sticks to it like brake dust or insects, they just wipe straight off. I think he had his done at a company that specializes in the treatment (thats all they do) and it was a lot cheaper than Volkswagon wanted. My advice would be to get the Yellow pages out and get some quotes. Cheers

S T O P!!!!!!

I use to work at a main dealer for Mercedes Benz & Honda and I would really shock you if I told you how much the dealership pays for supergard. The best thing about it is the paint seal, and if you are intrested I could give one, all it is, is a pad which has a bag of paint seal inside and you have to stab pad a few times and run the pad over the clean car and wait and polish it off like normal polish. It cost the dealer about £70. I dont have any stuff for the inside though. :D
