Air Filter

Hi,

I have a yaris t sport and had a bit of disaster today with a cheap ripspeed air filter. i believe you have to buy an air filter with an air sensor adaptor on it. Which air filter will fit my car and comes with this adaptor? will the apexi on envyperformance fit at 130 quid? i dont really want to be spending over 140! Also do these air filters affect your insurance policy?

You need to let your insurance know, or they may not pay out if you have an accident.

Apexi is the cheapest at £130

Then there's the K&N Typhoon at £180+

Check for a blitz i'm sure they make a filter and it's about £100. (Google 'blitz uk')

But you get what you pay for, you went for the cheapest and it was crap and didn't fit.

If you skimp on your mods you'll regret it, save up a while longer and get the apexi, it will be better than the blitz.

as above, it will invalidate your insurance. The insurance will either make you back date the additional premium you should have been paying... if they are reeeeally nice. if not they will invalidate your claim, not pay out, and even refuse you insurance.

Most insurances will be fine with it so its worth ringing up to check.
