Non Working Fob And Now A New Beep

Hi all

About a week a go my car went for a service, came back with no issues

2 days later I was just leaving my house to pick up a takeaway and my Fob would not let me open the car. I had been using my car all day with no issues and I have never had this before

Eventually I had to call the AA out as I could not get the key to open the door either. He managed to open the car with the key, and obviosuly setting the alarm off (10:30 at night - neighbours not pleased). He managed to start the engine, but still the car would not lock via the Fob (oh and I tried the spare as well - still no joy)

In the end he popped the bonet and disconnected the Battery, leaving it off for about 2 mins. When he reconnected it the Fob worked fine

However - now when anyone opens a door the car makes a "beep beep" sound. I am sure I am not going mad and the wife ays she has never heard it, but this "beep beep" was not there before. It happens on all doors except the driver door and only on 1 door at time

My car is a Toyoto Corrola Verso 2007

Anyone had these issues ?
