Scratching around trying to find the interval for engine oil and filter change for a 1,4 diesel powered Aygo.

Have just had the 1 year service and nothing appears to have been done except checking levels and ruining the mirror regulating mechanism. :o

km 13600 about 8500 miles.

The interval is claimed to be 20,000 miles, but the service information on the toyota website says 9,000 miles change with severe use and 18k normal use. I don't know why there is a discrepancy

SEVERE DRIVING CONDITIONS defined as;

- door-to-door

- town use

- towing a trailer

- sustained high speed driving

- short journeys from cold in low ambient temperatures

- hot climates, frequently above 30°C

- cold climates, frequently below -15°C

- dusty atmosphere

- low quality lubricants or fuel

Other Significant service items;

Timing belt between 120-150,000 miles

Air & fuel filters 36,000 miles

Coolant 150,000 miles

Valve clearance and Timing belt tensioning are automatically adjusted

You're welcome.

Top tips for those with a Petrol Aygo:

-Regular sparkplugs need changing every 25,000 miles, but Iridium plugs require changing only every 62,000 miles (as per Mr T)

-Don't worry too much about valve clearances because they only need audible inspection around 90k miles (although citroen seem to insist that the C1's valve clearances are checked every 25,000 miles!)

-Timing is chain driven, so you'll be extremely unfortunate if this ever has a problem
