Hi, i have a knackered cv gaitor and my MOT is due soon. I have a replacement and was just wondering what was involved in replacing this gaitor. I.E what do i need to remove or loosen , and other than a circlip tool , do i need any other special tools.

I would be very gratefull if someone could point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance Darryl

nice one thanx

Nice one Andy, i got the job done in no time, the drive shafts came off so easily i thought i might as well do all 4 as i also had an inner gaitor split on the other side. The passengerside drive shaft was a little harder as it was a much shorter shaft and didn't have as much leeway, but turned the steering a little and it came off.

2 x Outer CV gaitors £5.95 each

2 x Inner CV gaitors £7.95 each

1 set of front brake pads £13.95

1 Outer trackrod end £12.95

Postage £6.50

All from sdndirect on eBay

Thanks again Darryl B)
