Coming home a couple of nights a squirrel ran infront of me and i hit the brakes cos i didnt fancy fur over my bonnet and nothing happened.

So now have fur over the front bumper.

Took to a local garage said that the brakes needed tightened they done it for 50 quid im confused.

ack well, it works now :(

Taking it back to toyota next week for its free winter health check need to get the exhaust checked also cos it sounds a bit dodgy

thats sounds a bit odd, should have taken it to toyota, surely they would do it under warranty. Good job it was just the squirrel that suffered. Fur on the bonnet sounds good tho u keeping it? :lol2:

Sounds suspicious to me "tightened". They either didn't explain properly or have done very little for a lot of money.

How hard did you hit the brakes? You have to really really brake hard to activate ABS on these with them being so light. They stop very well when they need to.

Check the fluid level in your brake reservoir as that is something you can do easily and get someone else you trust to check the pads and for leaks if you aren't that way inclined.

Let us know.
