Just thought I'd say hello. Traded my beloved 'Rolla T-Sport in for 2007 Yaris T-Spirit D4-d. Had a spoiler and all the SR trims added too. Pick it up next sat. Obviously will miss my T-Sport, but am looking forward to economical motoring! :)

Welcome to the yaris section.

Bit of a step down from corolla t-sport to a diesel yaris, but you need it these days with high fuel costs

Hiya. Excuse me if I'm being thick, but isn't the SR cheaper than a T-Spirit? I bought a SR D-4D three weeks ago and have done 1300 miles in it. Am loving it - £10 less per week on fuel compared to my old Focus 1.4 Zetec!

Yeah I know mate, but I hardly drive the car anymore. The missus sits in traffic Mon-Fri and its costing me a fortune in fuel and road tax. This way my missus gets a nice little car thats easy and cheap to drive, my T-Sport hopefully goes to a new owner who will drive it how it was meant to be driven and I may be able to get my bike license! :gunsmilie:

Yeah, the Sr is cheaper when new. However I wasn't prepared to wait until May for a new one. Looked all over the shop for a 6mth old SR D4-d and found none! So bought the T-Spirit and made it look like an SR at no extra cost to me. Spoiler, scuff plates, gear knob and mats were the deal maker you see! :)

Cool didn't realise that they now do the D-4d in the style of the SR .... will have to look at the details when i'm next in Toyota.

Might be tempted to rid the Corolla for a yaris instead?

Hmm decisions decisions ..... although the yaris still lacks in the toys department

Get some pics up!!!!

Ah right, yes. I managed to get a brand new SR D-4D in Vivid Blue in about ten days. Other colours would have meant a wait until April. It was the colour I wanted anyway so I nabbed it -- had to be transported in from another dealer, but it was brand new and not pre-registered or anything like that. Just as well, as I didn't think the Focus would have lasted until April without needing some major work (lots of little faults, but would have added up to over £1000 to fix them all!).
