Central Locking.....

HI guys, was just wondering if someone here could identify the central locking relay for me please? I know it's somewhere under the dash on the drivers side.

I'm having a problem with my remote locking, it will un-lock as normal with the key, but it won't lock, although it does activate the alarm as normal. Also the locking switch on the inside door panel works to unlock, it doesn't for locking. I've been told by a Toyota Service Centre that the problem could be the Relay, which could need re-setting by removing and replacing.

Your comments and advice please. :D

Thanks in advance, Bill.

PS. By the way it's a 1998 (S) Avensis 1.8GLS.

Ta.

Ah, I'm pretty sure I got the right box/relay. There's a wiring plug going to the bottom of it, (which is a '!Removed!' to remove)! And it also plugs into the bottom of the Fusebox, which is slightly easier, but not much.

Now I just hope ot works when I plug it back in.... :(

Thanks again for all the help.

Ciao. :D
