All Toyota dealers in the Republic of Ireland are charging between €500 and €600 for metallic paint as an extra on all new Toyota models. I remember seeing a Toyota advertisement on the television some time ago that stated 'metallic paint standard' can anyone tell me is there a charge for this paint or is this just a 'rip off'. Thanks in advance.

The Avensis does not come with Metallic Paint as standard. In the UK it costs £350.
