Avensis Mkii - How Do I Change The Rear Wiper?

Hi,

I am trying to replace my wipers with the new flat, flexi beam ones, as they are not cleaning very well, but, I do not seem to be able to remove the rear wiper and I don't want to force anything in case it snaps. It appears that the entire are is encased in plastic and I can't seem to see anywhere where the blade would remove. My friend things it may be just the very end, the 'blade itself' that is removed, but I am not sure, can anyone help?

Oh sorry, I ave a 2003, D4D T Spirit 5dr Hatchback, new shape, I am also wanting to know if I can replace this blade with a longer one if anyone can help!
