bout a week ago i was plodding along on a dual carriage way doing bout 80 in forth. when i dipped the clutch to change gear it all went silent! and the dash lit up like a christmas tree but when i declutched it fired back up and it was fine. this morning i was approching a roundabout only doing 30 in third it did it again. no warnings at all just dies.

anyone any ideas what it could be? my mate said it could be the cam sensor on its way out?

im guesing you diped the clutch to change to 5th gear from 4th gear ?

surely you didnt drop from 4th to 3rd gear at 80 mph ? 3rd gear only does 90 i wouldnt like to drop and put so many revs on car
