Last time I filled up got back in car and fuel level had not moved from 1 bar.Took about 10 miles before it crept up to full. However on the computer before filling showed 33 miles range and afterwards got lower and now shows 0 miles range with half a tank. Not bothered really because never let the tank get really low but has anyone else had this problem.Cannot really be bothered to take it into the dealer for such a trivial thing.

Hi, the computer is not the best, what did it reckon was your avg mpg?.Mine took a couple of weeks to settle down when it was new, so give it a bit of time if new

If you press the stalk to get you too the Range screen, hold in the stalk whilst on the range screen and it should re-set itself.

Thanks guys.Tried the reset but did not work.Went out this morning with a half empty tank and the range has come back on again.Very un-Toyota like.My fuel computer says I am averaging 47.8 in a 2.0d4d.I think it is doing a bit more but have not done the sums lately.

Yeah my girlfriend put tenner's worth in the other week when she borrowed it with low fuel light on and the fuel range did not reset  It stayed on zero until I filled it up a couple of days later? I couldn't be bothered to take it into garage for this either!

I assumed it didn't reset cos only put tenner's worth in as never have problem when put a full tanks worth in...Bottom line is, don't rely on the fuel range reading!

I have almost half tank (just dropped to four bars) and the range shows 90 miles...it is useless but in my VW works exactly the same way ;)

Also,I personally do not like the bar reading of fuel remaining. It was a gimmick and I do not think it works.Would much prefer to go back to a normal gauge.Maybe when they do the facelift feedback may make them change this.Again a minor grumble and as my wife uses it most not something that bothers me too much.
