I enjoy driving my TS, had it over 2 years now, but by god is it noisy at speed!

So much so, that I'm getting my hearing tested - my job depends on lughole functionality. I seriously believe that the cabin noise I've suffered since Oct 05 has had an effect on my hearing. I find I've become increasingly sensitive to noise at all levels.

Of course, it could be just age :)

My mother refuses to travel on the motorway with me in my car, and it's not just down to my driving! - it's difficult to hold a normal conversation or listen to the radio without the volume cranked up.

It's a shame - performance wise, I love the car, but once the car loan is up (or if I get a firm diagnosis of hearing loss), it's going for trade-in.

:(

Has your exhaust fallen off ? (joke)

It's just not a quiet motorway cruiser , on the other hand it's not that bad either .

You need to spend alot more money for that kind of thing .

(Mum wont come in the car with you.......result I would of thought :D )

I'll second that. Went away for the weekend and it was my first proper drive on the motorway. I was quite surprised as to how early I had to change up to 6th gear just to keep the engine noise down

oh well.....its not really a motorway cruiser so can't complain too much, just have to make do with experiencing lift on my private roads in Leicester ;)
