Hi

I have a estima 2.2 deisel on a M plate 1994.

It has a knocking sound, very predominant when ticking over.

I did speak to someone about it and they think it might be "a Spacer / Washer" at the engine / gearbox.

Has anyone heard of this fault????

and is it fixable through the sump plate????

its your auxillary couplings you can buy them on eBay for about £30.00 a pair but they are quite difficult to change.

hi doug just had this problem sorted out on my Lucida, it was the bushes on a drive shaft that went up to either the fuel pump or oil pump. if you haven't got it sorted yet e-mail me and i will find out exactly where it is from my mechanic regards Brasso
