Wanted some advice please.

When I brought me Aygo I only had 1 key, I did try to get garage to get me one but they said they couldn't. I went to Toyota and priced one and I was quoted £200 :o.

Log book arrived so I contacted previous owner who kindly rang me today and said they reimbursed Arnold Clark garage for a 2nd key as they'd lost it.

So surely Arnold Clark must supply me a key?.

Wanted your oppionions before I ring AC. ;)

Had a similar issue for my wife's car, had to constantly hassle them for the missing key, eventually got a free one out of them the invoice said key would have been £69.99 however it needs to be taken to a dealer to be "programmed"

There are key places who can do it for you or you can get pattern ones for about £15. You need to search around for them though.

At the end of the day the car should have come with 2 keys so they should give you a 2nd key no questions asked really.

Sounds like they are just trying there luck with you trying to get some more cash like most garages do. I'd say worse comes to worse goto trading standards ;)
