It is now February 18th. Just thank your lucky stars that I am efficient to a degree. Thankyou all for your best wishes for my birthday on Christmas Day. OK Anchorman you can take your hands off my throat now.

The RAV is still going well with fuel consumption at 38 mpg towing a caravan at 50 mph ..... not bad eh?

Land Rover is still going well also .... get your hands off my throat Anchorman!!!!!!!!!

Best regards to you all

I know its a diesel because he only lives about half a mile away and I can smell and hear it kick up. Perhaps you can help me with a little conundrum though. Although I prefer it nowhere near my house, he does call from time to time. Do you think I should let him park in the same place and completely ruin one patch of tarmac with his oil leaks or get him to vary the place so it spreads it over a wider area but thinner?

Nothings easy is it?

Simple

change the driveway to red chips and people will arrive from afar to wonder at how you manage to get black and red chips in such a contrast!!

Or be kind, and buy a drum of red diesel and leave it in the driveway like wot i do for any passing dieselly engines. (Its in the driveway cos I didn't realise how heavy the thing is once filled!!)

Or you could use the dropping to weld together loose areas of tarmac - its excellent for that.

Either way, you only have 10 months to make your mind up
