Hi to all!

I have just ordered my Aygo Blue and can't wait to start enjoying it, providing it doesn't leak! I have previously owned a Smart Roadster for 3 years and had a catalogue of problems with it, including water ingress, so I am used to ranting at sales managers! ;) Hopefully this won't be neccessary with my Aygo.

I have managed to get a set of alloys thrown into the deal, FOC, and of course Toyota have 0% interest on at the moment, so I think I got a good deal all things considered.

I already plan to fit some lowering springs, K&N air filter and 'EBC Green Stuff' brake pads (low dust and efficient hot or cold), but does anyone know if there is a performance remap available for the Aygo yet?

I look forward to exchanging some banter with some of you in the future! :D

Lack of a turbo on the Aygo means any remap will give you very little extra and fitting a K&N will make no difference.

Hi Dave,

You are most likely correct with the remap as the benefits would be minimal, but a K&N always gives benefits with regard to long term cost (ie. no more costly OE air filters at service time), and with regard to better airflow and better filtration.

Every little helps as the saying goes!

Hi mate,

I went from a Roady to an Aygo blue back in Sept of last year. Its not as much fun and try and remember that now you have to slow for corners!!

That said the space is a god send and its good to know you don`t have to re-mortgage the house every service!

Enjoy!

OK it won't make a 'noticeable' difference. Having our smart remapped took it from about 54 to 80ish bhp. Best £150 we ever spent! You won't get that sort of increase whatever you do to a bog standard Aygo.

I had the 'Evil Twin' remap on my Roadster which took it from 80BHP up to 104BHP!! I had mine done by Smarts-R-Us and mine was the first Roadster with that particular remap to be put on the rolling road. I still have the readout some where.

The reason I have changed to an Aygo is that I need a bit more room AND reliability. Also, I want to single digit salute the congestion charge which may soon be introduced into my neck of the woods! :D
