hey all, i'm new to the club, i've had a 92 paseo for a while, i just put some 17''s on and their are other mods i'm planning like a weapon r intake in the spring, with a mod chip. Then this summer a body kit and new paint job. I wanted to do some work this winter too, like the tail lights, i don't know if anyone's see the lights that have been covered so they're circles. I'll post a pic of what they look like, but i don't know how they did it? if anyone knows how, shine some light on me pleaze. I also wanted to do some interior work, but how do people cover the stock plastic with different colors? If anyone has any helpful answers or other ideas i should do, Please let me know.

They could be 'Custom Marc' (from PIMP) tails, not sure.

Post some pics up of your car, sounds like you've got it all planned out nicely.

Oh yea - welcome to TOC.

welcome mate - where abouts are you from?

first off - dont bother with ther interior - every attemt had been met with disaster.

97paseo's right, the lights are Custom Marc''s from PIMP, nobody else makes them. & i think he's stopped aswell.

Also welcome, but J, I don't think those are Mark's. if you look closely, they have the same styling lines as the stock tails. Here one can buy an adhesive material similar to electrical tape, but in sheets, and one can cut designs out to accent their tails. It looks more like that to me. Mark's were fibreglass creations. As for the intake, I have the weapon-R on my 2G  . works very well, and has a great sound.

Happy modding!

they are *covers* or whatnot.

replace the *shell* of the light with a fibre / glass cover replacement and you have that

however i highly doubt thats the way hwoever owns that car did it. Looks like Taylors ride.

Or you can get them from www.Xracing.com.au Tell Jacky I said quit being a butt nugget and give you a discount.

hmmm, i thought they looked like marc's - ohh well these things happen

Yeah, even the back "spats" are from X-Racing on that car. Marc's lights stickout a bit.

Welcome to the club mate

hey everyone again, i'll try and get some pics of my car up somtime, it's nothin very impressive yet, just some nice wheels. I live in Michigan and am gonna have to garage the car for the winter as it sucks balls in snow. I'm pretty sure the tail lights are made from some kind of vinyl type sheet, like someone mentioned uncless covers were purchased and cut holes in. The only covers i've been able to find are for the headlights, so i'm thinkin about gettin those, spraying them to match the color of the car then cut circles in those to change around the looks of the headlights. Who knows, i have lots of ideas, just need to get to work. Glad to be a part of the forumn.

here's a pic of the interior of the same 92 paseo i put a pic up earlier. The whole car is just amazing and i really want to do a lot of what he's done to my car.

James, that's Tre's car!

Wheels are fine, but I'm gonna tell you one of my mottos, and my only one regarding modding: "why have a car that looks fast when it isn't?" Personally I'd save the money for the dragon intake or a custom exhaust.

Looks are cool, m8, but if a stock vtec civic lines you up, you're toast without any performance mods. No offense, but then you'll just be a cool looking loser! ;)

paseo's are never going to be fast unless you pile loads of cash into a engine swap like the 4age or 3sgte...

Intakes & exhausts on a paseo arnt going to make much of a differance, some but not much.

so looks are the way to go IMO

Grimjack - glad you found TOC man. yeah your right, havent seen Tre in a while so thats why i didnt recognise it.

Hey Devlin, since when you become British? I'm gonna smack you if you say "blocke" or "mate" one more time! lol

lol - cris just a friendly warning bro - 3/4's of TOC are british.

In all fairness, Cris, I am American, but I learned British English before I learned American English. Check out Chesterfield Day School. A bunch of old b :censor: s from England teaching preschoolers the colours of the rainbow.

The lingo I've picked up from being there twice in two years. I love London. !Removed! expensive, tho.

You can smack me now, but be warned: I'm feisty!!!

from the looks of it I would guess that no one cares what the deal with those taillights are, but just incase: I would have to say they were just painted. Custom, Marc's lights only have 3 parts, 2 red, one clear and are 3 lenses molded into fiberglass, as opposed to the 2 red, one whitish/clear reverse, one amber, and a parking lamp in this pic. The x-racing covers don't have the seam that is on the light, but the car in the pic does, so the only thing left would be paint. Speaking of paint, that's also all you need to do the interior colr that you asked about. that and some alcohol to cleen up, and some sand paper if you want it to stick better, but you'll loose the texture if that's a big deal

Cris' getting the turbo as we speak, and since we happen to live so close to each other, hopefully I'll get to help him work on it. He has a lot of technical knowledge floating around in his head, so i'm sure if anyone could do it quickly, it'd be Cris.
