i heard that if you put a full bodykit onto a mr2 you could class it as a kitcar and get cheap insurance. does anyone know anything about this, if its true and what are the rules?

It may be the case when you fit something like the Ferrari kit but its unlikely with something like say a Veilside one. Its probably because the car becomes so modified that it has to have specialist insurance like kit cars.
