I've just replaced my originals with about 25.000km on them (16.000mi) and they still had about 3,5 to 4mm thread left.

Since 3mm is about the safety-limit, I wanted Winter-tyres and I had the chance to buy a complete set

of extra WHEELS with perfect Summer-tyres on them at a great price I replaced them "early".

If I hadn't done that I'm guessing they'd have lasted me a total of about 18 tot 20k mi...

Thanks Devilish and Tim and yes will take it careful on new tyres.

Tyres were at 12k so am not too bothered as would have had to replace them soon anyway, just a bit sooner than planned.

Tim - I made that decision before looking at pics of your car, and I have to take it back its definitly male!! For starters it has a twin exhaust!! surely thats compensation for the usual inadequacies men have in that area :lol2: ;)

And I am pretty sure I remember your car from the cadwell track day and it spent the whole time looking at the Red Aygos headlights and scratching itself!!

Oh dear god, i think that all new Aygo's should come with a warning that they may damage your mental state!!
