Hi all

As you may have seen from my other posts i have a sick surf

Just had the the head done with all the bits and all was fine untill today.all of a sudden no heat coming from heater and tempreture gauge hit the top.it's now at the garage with a blown core plug. they said that there must have been a build up of pressure to have done this. does anybody have any ideas as to what might have caused the build up of pressure as i dont fancy having to pay for any unnecessary work

many thanx

Sounds like your engine has frozen up due to lack of anti-freeze to me, pressure build up would be released thru

the cap if it's the correct one. Has the core plug been pushed out completely or is it corroded thru? Bang another in

and cross your fingers.

All the best.
