Sticky Ignition Barrel

Hi

I have an 03 toyota avensis, but am having problems getting my key into the ignition and one of my friends who has an 04 plate has complained about the same thing.

Does anyone know if this is a common fault, has anyone else experienced it and did you need to replace the barrel and the keys?

you will need a new ign barrel i think you can get then to fit your old key ring your dealer/parts

Yes its a common fault..

becuase you have to push and turn the key..

Its the push bit that breaks
