Auris 16inch Tyres

I have done 17,000 miles on my 205 55V x 16 'Conti Eco 2' tyres and the two front ones will need replacing soon. Does anyone know where I can get the same tyres fairly cheaply (local Tyrespot wants £75 ea fitted)? Is there a cheaper tyre i should use?

75 fully fitted is a good price. You can fit something else (I think they are really good) but I would go for branded tyres: Pirelli, Good Year, Yokohama etc. The price will not be lower I am afraid. Yoy can fit budget tyres (ie Barum, Avon, Fulda etc) but they can be rubbish.

You can check online prices in big centres like Kwik Fit, National Tyres, Humphries...

You can not seriously say that Fulda is a budget tyre, they have higher end tyres that is OEM's on some high end Porsches & Audis

Had them fitted on my previous car. Failed after 5k kilometers. Now they are made in Turkey (not sure if all of them) and looks like quality may vary. For me they are overpriced and I am not going to trust them again.

But of course that is my personal opinion B) (and few my mates from VW forum)

Yes you could go to Kwik Fit.If you also want to come away with new brakes all round, new shock absorbers etc etc.
