Sat Nav Screen Goes Dark

Ok, here is a weird one. My 02 Avensis has the satnav that goes with the CD changer in the boot. Yesterday, I went to reset the mileage and trip speed, and the screen went black. It comes back on when I turn the car off and then start again. The satnav works, CD and radio display works, but it is when I go to reset the average mileage and average speed that it blacks out the screen.

Any ideas?

hi

mine multi display has similar issue and i can not understand it.

it happens not often and after a while it returns to a normal mode.

i have hand this issue but nobody could guide me what to do.
