just to double check how much oil should go into the mr2 turbo 3rd gen 3sgte and what type of oil is it?(toyota quoted me 65 pound bah)

Also im gettin gearbox oil and want to know how much it would cost to change g/b oil.

Ah..found out the answer:

drain and refill with oil filter change 4.5 litres

drain and refill without oil filter change 4.0 litres

Toyota recommend 10w30

Though the 10w rating is recommended i've heard good things about 0w mobile 1. Would it be safe to use this in my 2 (N/A)?

mobile 1 is no good mate ..it nocks bad ...go with 10/30

plus if ye changin it regular ..mobile one is too expencive

I've only heard it recommended. Guess i'll stick to Castrol brand then, as thats what i've ben usin in my other cars.
