Well, I took my car to the garage last week because it was making some noiseys.

Turned out 3 pulleys and a tensioner on the aux side of things needed replaced. Not cheap!!!!!

Then one of the cranks jumped when loading up tension on it becuase the timing belt was so slack. So it would have needed re-timed.

So whilst at it I got them to do the water pump, timing belt, all pulleys and tensioners. Again... bluddy not cheap!!

Once it was all together it was also found that the aircon pump was pooped!!!

After spending loads of money already, I decided to simply get a belt to bypass the pump. Not forking out alot of money for a new one as they are rare as <I thought I could get past the swearing filter - what a sad muppet I am eh?> for the MKII GTO's!

It's the price you pay!

PEople forget that these cars that are 10 years ish old are still high performance sports cars. If something goes wrong, it IS expensive!
