Different Models?

Hi All,

I have just joined, so please forgive me if this has allready been asked.

I am looking to buy a Toyota Yaris 1.0 with a limited budget (£3k), looking on autotrader, there isn't that much around inmy price braket, what would help is an understanding fo the models,common ones are:=

Yaris 1.0 16v VVTi GLS

Yaris 1.0 16v VVTi CDX

YARIS 1.0 16v VVTi GLS 5dr [AC] (year 2001)

What is the difference between these, why does the reay 2001 model say [AC], I think the others come with Air con?

Maybe we could have a sticky for the different models?

well ive got a 1999 GLS, and that dont have air con, but its got things like front electrics, central locking, power steering, sun roof, chrome grill etc..

i think the 2001 gls models will be the same but have AC

and i THINK the cdx version is the model below? dont have sunroof etc?

Model spec tier is as follows

S

GS

GLS

CDX

SR

T-Sport

So the CDX is a higher spec than a GLS. CDX comes with air con as standard, GLS does not.

The CDX has a sunroof as well as A/C.

I know this aint any help but my 52 plate Yaris "S" has power steering, crome grill, aircon, electric windows and central locking....work that one out :yes:

Standard S spec doesnt... could just be the previous owner had stuff added as optional extras? Either that or it's not really an S!

<lol> Noo I`m just on a wind up. It is a Yaris S. Im a tight rat Toyota tec that bought a low milage traded Yaris S and fitted all the extras at cost of the parts....just because I can :rolleyes:
