Well it’s almost 10 years old and the problem appeared a couple of weeks ago.

It got a climate control with auto position. Usually when I select auto the fan blows at its full capacity. Now it’s even lower than the 1st position. Additionally when I select maximum hot it may blow slightly cold to hot air, and when I select maximum cold it blows hot air! Now what electrical devises under the dashboard should I look for replacement?

As you live in a warm country and I have experienced with a few Hire cars over there the Air Con needs to be Re Gassed more often when it is used so much all year around. You probably need to have this done if when the air conditioning is on it is still blowing out warm air.

Do all of your other electrics seem to work ok? are you only loosing power from the air? I'd also check that your Battery is still ok, My corolla is as old as yours and I have just replaced mine.

Yes we have a very hot climate all over the year but this has nothing to do with the a/c or the Battery. I removed the front panel with the heater controls unit. It's seems to be an electronic short circuit problem. I have no control of the air temperature not even air speed control. Do I have to replace the heater control unit or is it something beyond?

I'd probably check the control unit see if it is getting power, maybe something has gone internally, if this is not an expensive job then it might be worth a try but other than that I wouldn't know sorry.

The price for Heater controls from Toyota Agent here in Cyprus is Euro 470.00! and is not in stock. This is almost 10% of the cost of the car.

If somebody can supply me with a used heater control I will be very much oblige.

I called all the junkyards allover Cyprus, and I found only heaters controls for AE101 which are manual and not electronic controlled.

Can anybody tell me if the heater controls of AE111 Levin BZ-G is similar to other Toyota’s models?
