Bad drivers

Things that get up my nose,

People who drive in the centre lane of the motorway when there is nothing in the inside lane.

Cars that drive at 57m.p.h. on motorways(truck drivers will understand that one),

Feel free to add,Brian.

Hi oldgit,

agree you with the idiots who won't move over from middle lane of m/way, but as to 57 mph, frustrating but not agaist the law, and as long as the stick to the inside lane then we just got to put up with it :o

Middle lane drivers have to be the worst.... I hate it when your in the middle overtaking there's nothing in either the out or middle and they won't budge, I've got in the bad habit of undertaking them if its clear....

Mind you if it's quiet I do have the tendency to stay in the middle if I'm going fast enough for nothing to come up my back to prevent unnecessary lane changes, always change back to inside if I see something coming up behind though.

Other PITA's are:

1) People riding your tail, you can only go as fast as the car in front (safe distance of course. Had someone nearly ram my behind this morning (no pun intended) as I live in an area with silly speed bumps (these are massive) I slow down to a crawl, this guy must have been annoyed and in a hurry as he nearly didn't stop.

2) Fog lights on urban roads when its clear, in a low car they really get on my !Removed!, luckily the rear spoiler can block most of them out...

I'm sure there's more just can't think of them off the top of my head will re-post later, am sure more will be posted soon.

Drivers who park in disabled parking areas when they have no disab;ed Badge.

The same for people with no children parking in the "with child" parking.

I cant find my soap box,

Regards,Brian.

People who park so close to you , you have to climb in the passenger side and slide accorss as you can't open your door....

People who park so close to the front andrear of your car you have to do a 100+ turn to get out of the spot !

Oh, forogt the obvious one.... BMW Drivers !

What about those dickheads who sit in the outside lane at 60mph when there are hardly any cars in the other lanes, forcing you to undertake? You usually get a convoy of them stretching for about a mile and all the other lanes are empty. This really annoys me, if I was a copper I would do them all for dangerous driving.

Absolutely, every time I go on a motorway you get this with people in the wrong lane going too slow when the inside lane is clear, you have to go up the inside if you want any kind of progress along the road! It's frustrating because it's illegal to 'undertake' and if you sit in a long line behind the slow guy being good there's always someone who says b*****ks to this and goes flying up on the inside making things a bit more dangerous for everyone, aaaagh mustn't let it wind me up though :mad::mad:

Sorry Brian/oldgit but I get very irritated by 4x4's headlights, they seem to be at the very same height as my mirror :( there should be some kind of height rule! :D

Your lucky you have the extra height, it seems to be every other car's healights in line with my mirrors.....

It depends on the type of road sa to whether the rear spoiler blocks them or not..... Maybe I should get a bigger one and not bother with a rear view (maybe not !!)

Maybe you are all going to slow and that’s why people sit behind you with their lights on, if you drove something fast you wouldn’t have that problem. :D

Been away a few days....

Jake, no need to run if we had normal height cars your right we wouldn't be complaining, I'm just a winging little ..... :D:D

Got a new moan today after just getting back from Wales in really low visability, very wet conditions, people who drive in them as if it was clear light and dry, if anything happened they would be all over the place.....

  • 1 month later...

try driving in oz: no rain for weeks so the road is hell slippery when it finally does rain (and not just a shower!). no one compensates for the road conditions and there is usually about three accidents the first time it rains after summer! mostly on the two major bridges leading out of my town so traffic gets held up for hours while the bridge is cleared!

I hate old people and young girls in little cars who drive at a walking pace along great country roads. I catch them up nearly every day on my way to work (when its dry) and it's too twisty to overtake.

my pet hates: mobile phone in one hand brains out the window: kids in the back without seatbelts: small yappy dogs on back parcel shelf:and my favourite people who leave it till the last yard when a lane is blocked at roadworks on the m-way

last yard has to massive pet peeve, had fun although partially irresponsible with another mr2 last time it was dry when we hit road works, he seemed to know when I would accelerate and brake so we managed to keep the car parked in the outside lane, he wasn't a happy bunny but after you've waited what seems an eternity why should some numb nut come racing up the outside and force his way in !
