Hey,

Have to change the discs and pads all round on my cts. So i went to the motor factors and got the discs front: 275mm and rear: 279mm, and the corresponding pads. This was from the parts book he had. It listed Corolla 1.8 T-sport (ZZE123), seems like they would do the job. Anyway the mechanic went to fit them today and the rears went on perfect but he said the front discs and pads were a good bit off.

Anyone know the correct size for the front discs? Or have similar problems?

Cheers.

Lads,

Spoke to the mechanic, he said that the front discs are the correct diameter(275mm) but that the centre hole should be a smaller diameter and there should be a "lip" for the driveshaft... Anyone any ideas what disc will fit?

Anyway I spent €230 euro on parts, discs and pads all round. I'm getting a lad in work to do the work on the side so labour cost shouldnt be huge...

Cheers for the replies.

Just thinking I should stick on the part numbers here in case anyone has the same problem in future.

So the rear discs fitted perfectly, they were 279mm in diameter, can't get the part number because they're on and the box was thrown out...but they were the listed ones for Corolla 1.8 T-sport (ZZE123) in the Motor Factors.

As for the fronts, I bought the listed ones: 275mm in diameter, Disks - Apec DSK2229, Pads - Delphi Lockheed LP1302 PAD977. *THESE WON'T FIT!!!!

My mechanic got pads: Apec PAD1223, and told me to get the corresponding discs, so i'll let ya know how I go.

The old pads on the front were: Delphi Lockheed E13 90R-010039/001 06093925 1737 KB.

Hi lads,

I need a bit of help here, having no luck getting the correct front discs for my CTS!

Here's a pic of the discs that are currently on and the ones i bought which were listed:

As you can see the internal hole is too big and doesnt have the "lip" that allows it to bolt onto the driveshaft.

This is the front btw.

Any help really appreciated. Or does anyone work for toyota that can give me the specs for the front discs...

hi,

the lip that your on about is part of the hub i think. they look like the correct discs to me.

measure the diameter of the hole in the centre of disc and see if it will fit over the diameter of the lip on the hub.
