Air Con - Econ?

right on my jap import it has 2 buttons air con and econ or summin like that

no what is econ

i know air con uses extra petrol but will kbring out heat first thing and is usefull in the summer

but what is econ

does it use petrol (more petrol)

is it an option thats better with the temp set on auto or what??????

and one final question - my gearbox is very knotchy i have been told to replace the oil with redline mt-90 but its well expensive - anything else work just as good - and whould you use a semi sinthetic oil change?

come on gather roung and help a brother out!

econ is basically economy. It comes on and off.. instead of being on constantly.. hence uses less petrol.

How much is this redline mt-90 stuff ?? My Gbox is quite notchy.. would be willing to give this a try. Where can I get it from ?

Get it from the company direct .. and it's not expensive at all .. about a tenner a bottle I think .. need 4 bottles.

And it's not a cure .. it's a known problem with MR2 boxes .. the syncro's were quick .. especially on higher boost cars ..
