Does anyone know if the bee sting aerials on eBay are any good? Is the reception better or worse than the standard one? I picked up my Aygo black on friday and thought I might get one of the black bee sting aerials.

In my experience the bee sting aerials give an acceptable radio reception, but not as good as a standard aerial.

It is possible to get a short stub aerial which is a good compromise between the standard aerial and a bee sting.

Personally I think the standard aerial does a good job

Long is good, it means you can unscrew it and whip people who are ****** you off in the back of your car with it ;)

if you want the WRX one i have then ive noticed there are usually a few floating around on eBay, depends whether u want to buy off the net or not

Firmly grip the ariel wire and unscrew anti-clockwise

To remove the whole assembly: Take small screw driver and prize off the interior door light from the right hand side of the lens. Then fully unscrew the bolt attached to the roof. You can't miss it, because it has a wire coming from it. Then, from the outside, simply lift off the ariel

Which one? They do about 5 different ones. The Sabre looks tasty! B)

Says on the box "original" came with two different whip lengths I used the longer one as the short one just looked weird.

When i had my yaris i thought that it was just to long used to catch on the garage door driving in and out. So i just cut it off lol and made it shorter. And i stuck the rubber end back on again. And the radio reception was still fine
