when i switch off the ignition key, the radio loses all the stations memory. this is not happening on regular baisis. the cd player dealer had told me that i have to connect the main power directly to the battrey. is there something i can do to leave all the wiring standared , attached to iso connecter?

yes, join the yellow and red on the main power block - you will have no more problems.
